Role Overview
As a Bookkeeper at ApexBridge, you will be responsible for day-to-day financial processing for Australian clients. This role is ideal for detail-oriented professionals who enjoy structured work and want to build strong fundamentals in Australian accounting.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks including data entry and bank reconciliations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
- Ensure transactions are correctly coded and supported by documentation
- Assist with balance sheet and general ledger reconciliations
- Support accountants during month-end and year-end processes
- Follow established accounting procedures and Australian standards
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- At least 1 year of bookkeeping or accounting support experience
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
- Exposure to Australian accounting or cloud-based systems (Xero, MYOB) is an advantage
- Strong numerical and reconciliation skills
